Running the Obsolescence List Report

KB Article #7749

The Obsolescence List report shows current Non-Protected obsolescence on-hand values that also meet the inputted Age, Last Receipt Date, Minimum Line Value criteria, and Maximum Value to Calculate (optional).

Three lists can be created from this report:

  • Non-Protected Returnable Parts (Return Only): Contains parts that are returnable and should be considered for an accrual return.
  • Non-Protected Not-Returnable Parts (Scrap Only): Contains parts that are non-returnable to the OEM.
  • All Non-Protected Parts, Both Returnable and Non-Returnable (All Non-Protected): Contains all non-protected parts on hand, both returnable and non-returnable.

Additionally, the report can show or hide non-multiples of pack quantities. Manufacturers may have a designated number of pieces required to complete a pack. If you do not have enough to meet those requirements, you can hide those parts from the list.

Note: In order to provide results, PartsEye must have received inventory data for the current month.
