OpenTrack DMS Integration Authorization

OpenTrack is a web service application that allows outside vendors to access your DealerTrack information for data services. For PartsEye to access your data, an authorized user will need to define the OpenTrack settings for parts inventory data.


Step 1: Authorize PartsEye to access your parts data.

To authorize PartsEye to access your parts data via OpenTrack:

  1. In your DealerTrack DMS, navigate to the Data Exchange application menu and select OpenTrack.
    Important: If OpenTrack is not an available option in your Data Exchange menu, your user is not authorized to set up OpenTrack access. Please forward these instructions to an authorized user at your dealership.
  2. Choose Add on the Active Methods list window that displays.
  3. Update the Vendor Access definition as follows:
    Field Value Value
    Method Parts
    Vendor SmartCo Services LLC
    Note: This list is not alphabetical.
    Access Begins Enter today’s date (MMDDYY).
    Access Ends Leave this blank.
  4. After updating the values, press ENTER on your keyboard.


Step 2: Provide necessary information to PartsEye.

The following information is required to utilize your OpenTrack integration:

  • Enterprise code (e.g., JG / JG9 / iTrack1 / 264001 / 24.12 / SE1000DE)
  • Company number (e.g., JG / JG9 / iTrack1 / 264001 / 24.12 / SE1000DE)
  • Server name (e.g., JG / JG9 / iTrack1 / 264001 / 24.12 / SE1000DE)
  • Make code (e.g., the manufacturer code assigned to your OEM in DealerTrack, such as KI, SU, MZ, IS)


To locate and provide the information:

  1. Find the enterprise code, company number, and server name. 
    1. This can be found in the lower right corner of DealerTrack.

  2. Find the make code: 
    1. Click Parts from the top menu.

    2. Click 10. Parts in Inventory.
    3. The make code can be found in the Manufacturer field, located in the upper left corner. 
  3. Email this information to activations.partseye@oeconnection.com.


Step 3: Ensure OpenTrack order entry functionality works.

Important: For PartsEye to be able to enter orders into your DealerTrack system, DealerTrack requires you to have an active OEM price tape for the correct manufacturer.

To determine the status of your OEM price tape subscription: 

  1. Contact your DealerTrack sales representative by calling 1-888-485-6894, option 3
    1. Note: Do not press option 1. It will take you to Support and Support cannot access price tape information for you.
