Searching for a Part Using Locator

The Locator allows you to search local dealer inventory to find specific parts. You can search for a single part or for multiple parts at one time.

Click an option below to get started: 

  • To search for a single part:

    1. Click the Locator tab.

    2. Search criteria displays.

    3. The Search From field defaults to the dealer's ZIP code. Edit this field if needed. 
    4. The Distance in miles to search defaults to 50 miles. Adjust this number if needed. 
    5. Type the part number in the Input Part Numbers field.

    6. Click Add Part.
    7. Search results display below, along with a Part List showing all searched part numbers.

      Information for each result includes: 
      • Dealer
      • Part number
      • Quantity on hand
      • Address
      • Phone number
      • Miles from your ZIP code


    From here, you can:

    • Click the hyperlinked address to open directions to the location in Google Maps in a new tab.

    • Click the 7772_UsingLocator6.jpg icon in the header row to sort results by that column.
    • Click the 7772_UsingLocator7.jpg icon to download the list as an Excel spreadsheet or CSV file.

    • Click the 7772_UsingLocator9.jpg icon to remove a part number from the Part List. 
  • To search for multiple parts at once:

    1. Click the Locator tab.

    2. Search criteria displays.

    3. The Search From field defaults to the dealer's ZIP code. Edit this field if needed.
    4. The Distance in miles to search defaults to 50 miles. Adjust this number if needed.
    5. To add part numbers individually: 
      1. Type the first part number in the Input Part Numbers field and click Add Part

      2. Search results will appear and a Part List will display the searched part numbers.

      3. Continue adding part numbers following Step 5a until all parts have been added. 
      4. When ready, click Search to search for all part numbers in the Part List. 
    6. To add part numbers in bulk using a CSV file: 
      1. If your CSV file has a header row, check the Header Row box.

      2. Click Browse and locate your CSV file in the File Explorer.

      3. Once found, click to highlight it and click Open to upload it. (PartsEye will automatically begin searching for the part numbers in the file.)
    7. Search results will appear. The Parts List will show all part numbers searched.

    From here, you can:

    • Click the hyperlinked address to open directions to the location in Google Maps in a new tab.

    • Click the 7772_UsingLocator6.jpg icon in the header row to sort results by that column. (For example, sort by part number so all locations with that part display grouped together.)
    • Click the 7772_UsingLocator7.jpg icon to download the list as an Excel spreadsheet or CSV file.

    • Click the 7772_UsingLocator10.jpg icon to remove all part numbers from the Part List.
