Adding Parts to a Stock or Drop Ship Order

Parts can be added to a stock order or a drop ship order individually or in bulk, by uploading an Excel spreadsheet of the parts. 


To add parts to a stock/drop ship order: 

  1. From the Stock Order tab, make sure the correct order type is chosen from the drop-down menu (Stock Order or Drop Ship Order).

  2. Click Add Special Parts Only.

Choose from the following options to continue: 

  • Use an Excel spreadsheet to add parts in bulk. The Excel spreadsheet must be set up as follows: 

    • Column A: Part number
    • Column B: Bin location
    • Column C: Quantity

    1. Click Choose File

    2. Locate and click on the spreadsheet in the File Explorer. Click Open

    3. Check the Header Row box if the spreadsheet has a header row. (Leave it unchecked if it does not.)

    4. Make sure the columns are labeled correctly to match the Excel spreadsheet.

    5. When ready, click Submit.

    6. The uploaded parts will display in a table.

      Information for each part includes: 
      • Part Number
      • Description
      • Bin location
      • Quantity
      • OnHand quantity
      • OnOrder quantity
      • Price
      • Total amount based on quantity
    7. Make adjustments as needed. When ready, click Save. The stock order will update with the new parts.
    1. For each part:
      1. Type a Part Number in the provided field. (Additional fields will prepopulate.)

      2. Type the Quantity in the provided field.

        1. Note: If the part comes in a pack, the quantity must be a multiple of the pack quantity (e.g. a pack of 12 must say 1224, etc.).
    2. When finished, click Save. The stock order will update with the new parts.
