Accrual returns allow dealers to identify obsolete inventory and, if desired, generate a suggested return based on parameters they set.
Obsolete inventory includes parts that have not seen sales or usage for a set period. These items should be returned to the manufacturer when possible. If not, they can be sold at a discount or scrapped and written off for tax purposes.
