    • Parts can be blocked from future suggestions in two ways:
      • Using the Hold List: Removing a part from your suggested order will automatically add it to your Hold List. The part will not be suggested again until you either sell that part or show a lost sale for it. At that point, it will be suggested again if it meets current stocking parameters
      • Using the Manual Override List: By placing a part on the Manual Override List, these parts remain on override, regardless of sales, until manually removed from the list by the user.
    • The Manual Override List contains parts that will not be suggested on another stock order, regardless of sales.
    • The Hold List is a temporary exclusion. The parts on this list will be removed once they show sales activity.
    • Parts can be managed within the Override List of PartsEye. (Learn more about managing parts.)
    • Review the list frequently, checking to ensure these parts should still be on override. If not, release them from the list as you review.
    • Be sure to check your Override List by using the Select Parts w/ Activity from List. This shows parts on override which could be made available for suggestion.
    • Please note, parts on Manual Override will not be suggested, regardless of increased demand.
    • In the Reports tab, click Manage Monthly Performance Report. This screen allows you to view, edit, or add recipients of this report.
    • Please note, your OEM requires a Dealer Principal and/or General Manager be listed as a recipient. A Dealer Principal or General Manager's contact information cannot be removed without being replaced by a new contact with one of these titles.
    • This report should be reviewed at least once per week.
    • This commonly occurs if a dealer is ordering outside of PartsEye, has a high quantity of special orders, has restrictive settings (e.g. body block), and/or high obsolescence.
    • Check the timestamp on the SmartGauge tab.
      • If the last data import was today, click Generate Stock Order Now on the Stock Order tab.
      • If the timestamp is not recent, send an inventory file (if able) or reach out to Support.
    • If you can send us your inventory file, send it 30 minutes prior to when you want to review your order.
      1. Check the SmartGauge tab to ensure the timestamp updated to today.
      2. Navigate to the Stock Order tab and click Generate Stock Order Now. This will generate your suggested stock order for today.
    • You may also reach out to Support for assistance.
    • Any unsubmitted stock orders will be removed after the holiday. Your net utilization will not be affected.
    • Although the OEM lets us know of most holiday closures, we suggest you reach out if you will be closed for any reason.
    • PartsEye only makes adjustments to ASR per instruction by the OEM and will turn it off based on their instructions.
    • This consists of all OEM parts on hand and OEM parts on order.
    • The best way is to submit all daily stock orders.
    • Keep your overrides to a minimum.
    • Accept all parts on your suggested order.
    • This can be caused by an increase in inventory (Total On Hand Value), a drop in sales (Total Demand $ at Cost), or a combination of both.
    • There is a chance you may not have any eligible parts for return this month.
    • If you believe you should have a return, you can:
      • Check the SmartGauge to see if you have parts that qualify for return.
      • Contact a PartsEye Planner.
      • Reach out to Support.
    • You can access PartsEye on any PC with Internet access.
    • If you have issues with access, reach out to PartsEye Planners or Support for assistance.
    • You can request PartsEye train another person from your dealership to place orders in your absence.
    • You can also request we adjust your stock order schedule to bypass orders while you are out.
    • A final option is to have a PartsEye Planner submit orders in your absence.
    • Contact a PartsEye Planner to review your planning settings.
    • Be sure to have examples of specific part numbers you have concerns with.
    • Review the SmartGauge, where you can easily identify any surplus or obsolescence issues.
    • The two most important factors are missed orders and parts on override.
    • All this information can be found in the SmartGauge.
    • Training is conducted remotely, over the phone, free of charge for any dealer personnel.
    • If the dealer is interested in additional parts operations training, PartsEye has a training and consulting division called SmartCo Consulting & Training (SCT). This division provides custom in-dealership fixed operations training that focuses on the systems and processes necessary to maximize parts and labor sales, profits, and CSI.
    • To learn more about SCT, send an email to info@insight-sct.com
